One day i was watching a video that explained that a type of wax called paraffin wax is actually really harmful to the environment, especially to the ocean. And it turns out all big surf wax brands use this wax and still claim its good for the environment. paraffin wax is not biodegradable, creates green house gasses and toxic by-products and release toxic compounds like toluene and benzene which is terrible for the air, ocean and wildlife. Did I mention it is made from fossil fuels. So hearing this made me think paraffin wax is the worst thing to be using for surf wax and there has to be better options. So i did some research and found that there is, bees wax and soy wax, they are both natural and biodegradable, so i made it my mission to make a surf wax that lives up to the standers of being super sticky, durable and just all-round the best at you want wax to be while also keeping the oceans clean. hundreds of hours, failed attempts and thousands of dollars later I'm happy to say i have made a surf wax that lives up to all the expectations of a good surf wax that is harmless to the environment that's locally made in Australia and turned it into a brand called LULLCITY hoping to get all surfers and skim boarders to turn to the cleaner option.
